Accountant, Full-time
JPB Partners is looking for a talented and resourceful full-time Accountant to perform accounting/consulting duties for external and internal clients in the Baltimore-Washington corridor. This position requires a professional with the ability to work independently and accurately with various aspects of accounting principles and processes. This Accountant will perform all general accounting functions, maintain a complete and systematic set of records of business transactions, and prepare analyses, forecasts, budgets and other related duties in the performance of consulting services to clients.
Required qualifications, skills and abilities include:
- 3 years accounting experience, preferably working with small-to-medium-sized private businesses and non-profits,
- BA/BS in Accounting, -- a CPA is a plus,
- Proficiency in MSExcel, Quickbooks, Word, Outlook and various payroll products,
- Demonstrated verbal and written communication skills that convey meaning and understanding,
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving and interpersonal skills, and
- Ability to travel locally to client offices.
